Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026 · Version 1

This policy explains how Cygnus Strategy LLC ("we," "us") handles information in our apps, including Breakover and Pocket Shack (each an "App").

The short version

What each App does with data

Spoken alerts use Apple's on-device speech. CarPlay displays the same on-device data on your car's screen.

Pocket Shack

DataUsed forWhere it goes

SettingsKeeping your preferences on all your devicesSynced through iCloud key-value storage
Location (optional)Showing nearby nodes on the mapUsed on your device only; never sent anywhere

The microphone is used only while you are transmitting.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive no payment information and no personal information about you. The App receives only a signed record of which products your Apple Account owns, so it can unlock paid features.

Diagnostics

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These help us fix bugs and don't identify you.

The Apps also use Apple's MetricKit to receive crash and performance reports on your device. These reports stay on your device unless you choose to send one to us from the App's diagnostics screen. You can turn this off at any time in Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements.

Permissions

The Apps ask for permissions only when a feature needs them, and work without the ones you decline (with those features unavailable):

You can change permissions anytime in your device's Settings.

Children

The Apps aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because your data is on your device, you control it. Deleting an App removes its data from that device. Data an App syncs to your iCloud account can be managed or removed in your device's iCloud settings. Exports you have sent elsewhere are under your control.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a company holds about you. We don't hold personal data about you, but if you have a question or request, contact us and we'll help.

Security

Data stays on your device and in your iCloud account, protected by your device's security and Apple's. Sign-in credentials an App needs are stored in the device Keychain.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version with a new effective date and, for material changes, let you know in the App.
